Beacon Hill Neighbourhood
Tom Cruise’s childhood home was in the Beacon Hill neighbourhood. This area in east Ottawa is a typical suburban area. The house that Tom and his family lived in is an unassuming split-level house. Tom was known to play street hockey out front with friends. He also told a story about doing leaps off the roof. You can read it here.
Nearby, Tom and his friends with go exploring along the Ottawa River, or fishing at Green’s Creek, both very close to his house.
Remember this is a private home, and it’s important to respect their property and not trespass.
