Fresh Off The Boat was a single camera sitcom that ran for 6 seasons from 2015 to 2020. The ABC show starred Randall Park and Constance Wu as Taiwanese-American parents raising their three kids in Orlando. The series was based on Eddie Huang’s book “Fresh Off The Boat: A Memoir”. The first season focused more on the stories of Eddie and his friends. After the first season, Huang greatly reduced his involvement in the show, and it become more of an ensemble. The show was filmed at Fox Studios and at various locations around Hollywood.
The Huang House
The Huang Family lives in a typical suburban house. The show used a house near Culver City, and it appears frequently throughout the series. The house is located on a Cul-de-Sac which allowed for filming without disrupting traffic.

Marvin and Honey’s House
Marvin and Honey are a couple that live next door to the Huang Family. Their house is also seen quite often on the series, and is legitimately located next to the main house. The angle of the house and the tree in front make it hard to get a variety of photos.

Cattleman’s Ranch
In the series, Louis owns a typical American steakhouse known as Cattleman’s Ranch. The restaurant goes through a number of affiliations, at one point even being named “Michael Bolton’s Kenny Roger’s Cattleman’s Ranch”. Exteriors of the restaurant were filmed at Max’s of Manila. The restaurant is part of a larger North American chain. The show used their location in Glendale.

Abraham Lincoln Middle School
Fresh Off The Boat features numerous scenes at Abraham Lincoln Middle School. These scenes were actually filmed at Van Nuys Middle School.
